Default Let's See You Married Guy's Do This

This was my bathtub most of the day yesterday. Believe it or not there is a radiator in there someplace. Were workin on replacing the VP44 Injector pump and put a new crank seal in the front gear cover while we were at it so I got the bright idea to pull everything and clean the oil out of it. Before it went in the tub with the Dawn Dish soap this radiator was cleaned with Simple Green, 409 Kitchen Cleaner and Oven Cleaner and what you see is what was still left after all that. If you drive an older truck doing somethin similar may be a project to think about for you to. I never would have imagined the amount of gunk that came out of this thing.

By the time I was done even I was disgusted. The little bathroom rug headed for the trash and it took a while to get it all off the backsplash and tub, that's fer sure. I used the shower hose to spray it down so grease was speckled all over the back of the tub and surround. I also did the fan, shroud, belt and a few other parts. The fan was the worst. It left globs of crude oil in the tub that was like tar. It was insane how much old oil came off this stuff.

you oughta just replace the tub as good as you are with home repairs or go rent a steam cleaner pressure washer setup

If it was above freezin here I would have done this with the pressure washer but that's not in the forecast for a while now.

Minus a few stains in the bottom of the tub that I think I'll get out with some scrub powder when I get around to it it did all come clean.

I get yelled at for leaving black marks in teh tub from showering after working on teh truck... I could not imagine that...

I did clean my blown head gasket to make a picture frame in the tub... Left a nice imprint...
