this crane we had hired when we built train 3 here at the plant in 01-02

it was set up her to lift one million pounds....I think we did 27 lifts with it, cost was 100k per day and we had it here for 4 months...........when it left here it ended up building some stadium in Texas and fell killing some workers, I cant remember the details on it though

 

a big 42" valve we recently did for a tail gas unit

 

thats not you sitting down watching is it and i have seen that crane in training videos for crane inspection classes its not even the biggest made simply amazing the things they do anymore

 

Be a bad day if the tail weights fell to ground.

 

those weights are just big boxes stacked with gravel

this crane can be custome built per job, taller or heavier whatever the customer wants

it takes 4 dudes to make a lift, one runs all the cables, one runes each set of tracks and one dude over sees it all and communicates the lift via radio
