My wife works at a school and they are giving free flu shots. My boy who is in college working towards being a biochemist or pharmacist told my wife to stay completely away from it cause it's not really any worse than any other strain of flu and this could possibly happen (Dystonia)

that's what like a 1 in more than a million chance though? And no offense but that disease has loopholes in it... She can function normally in certain ways but has trouble in others, so she has all her coordination, it's just not synchronised properly... Sounds to me like there should be a way to fix that. However, yes it is sad that that happened.

I'm vaccine free. I realised the world is full of idiots too many years ago to bother listening to the people who speak on television. I don't need a vaccine, my immune system is probably better than at least 65% of all people. I get "sick" once every couple years. I get a mild cold once-twice a year on average. And my personal hygeine is outstanding...so why bother with a vaccine for a virus that I don't have probably won't get and isn't any worse than anything else I've had? Just be healthy and responsible. The whole Swine Flu scare pisses me off. It's been a while since I've ranted hahaha.

 

Just another govt-subsidized media-supported money making scheme.

Or maybe I should say "tax spending" scheme.

Lessee now, they got the Banks, the car co.'s, the pharmaceuticals... who's next in line for a big federal payday?
