Is it true that quality goes down since Optima is Johnson Control?
I hear a lot of battery fail since that- or is it user failure?

Dual yellow tops in my truck with no problems.

that is true. my uncle works at autozone and he said he has had a lot more optima failures. they are cranking out so many batteries now the quality control is not there anymore like it used to. i got autozone gold batteries. they slow down a little bit when it was -2 out but i would expect it too. the old interstates i had were in there for 8 years and never skipped a beat

^^ That's sad to hear. They'll probably start making them in China, if not already. :td:
