well aaron, buddy, you're not alone. i pulled the coffee pot off the warmer today right after it got done brewing to fill my cup then proceded to wash it right away. i learned 2 things shortly after i started washing it out.

1- don't ever grab the pot by anything but the handle
2- callouses don't blister.

don't have any good reasoning about why i decided to let go of the handle and grab the pot but i did.

 

that is funny man (CAUTION HOT!) I believe almost every coffee pot I have ever seen has that written rite on it roflmao

 

Label me an idiot too.

I re-heated a casarole one evening (home alone) last November.
And proceeeded to pick it up with the handles. Yeah, I forgot the oven mitts.

You know how hard it is to do anything with your hands after getting blisters up the side of both index fingers and across both thumbs?

Not to mention dropping the dish on it's side, on the stove top. What a mess..."give: Don't know what I was thinking..... Guess I wasn't!

ok wow sorry guys that sounds a little gay after i read it

 

I think everyone has done something like that. I welded a few little pieces of metal together one night BSing with my buddy. Well I got to talking and forgot wasnt paying attention and grabed the pieces I just welded. Yeah that ended up being a drunken night.

ha! i checked this morning and there isn't anything written on it to prevent me from hurting myself. guess i showed them.

 

I now retract my previous statement. I would love to replace it wit use common sense but seein how I myself am exempt from this I will not.

 

I am gonna try some pizza again in a minute for the first time since the last incident.
