Google Maps Street View actually gives you real pictures and a 360 view of almost every single street, highway, etc in the states, and by the looks of it most major cities. You can find your house and zoom onto the door step.

I attached a word document with some short instructions how to figure it out and some screen shots.

I seen them running through town a few years back, hell of a roof rack on that SUV

 

I just found out the lady that does the billing in our office.....her son does this for a living. I don't know which site he works for but he does the mapping and pics for internet and GPS mapping.

 

its true and it works seen my own piece of property its old almost two years infact but its there for every body to see if they put my address in

 

You guys just found out about street view on google maps? Where have you been? I've seen a few google cars driving around with a creepy tower of cameras on the roof a couple times but I looked up the locations and never saw my truck.

street view can be convenient but it creeps me out...most of google is that way, I love some of the services they have (google voice, street view, gmail) but dang, it's just downright creepy when I think about how much google knows about me personally.

 

I can still find my truck on street view before i bought the damn thing

 

Do you hate it when you go to the mall and the signs say "you are here" and you wonder how they knew

I like flying the map, we done that a few times hunting new places gators can hide, but it's just fun
