I'm always wondering about the bad diesel rep in the US. Whats wrong over there? Over here nearly every second car is a Diesel.

they were unreliable back in the early 80's when they came out with them, the motor was loud, and a few other deals

Loud slow smelly smokey no power just to name a few things and people have latched onto those facts and won't get past it.

Tell me about it.I was trying to explain the other side of diesels to a coworker last week,and he wouldn't believe me.
