Well I was just thinking of that "Stuckeys peanut log" how it was all rolled up together.. Boiled the hell out of some peanuts but the darn things won't melt.

That is by far one of my favorite snacks for this time of the year. I have not had it in a few years though, people out here think I am nuts when I mention it. My opinion is don't knock it until you try it.

if you think a Stuckeys log is good you need to get your hands on some Dillon Candy Company Logs..... their plant use to be literally 100yds from my front doorstep but they moved to a bigger facility now 1 mile from my house..... my grandmother's neighbor use to work there and back in the day all the candy rolls that were packaged and weighed too small employees got to take home..... she always brought me over candy all the time.....

I just let loose a peanut, corn laden log. Didn't look appetizing at all!

I make that every year but this year I'm going to try trail mix with it and see how that tastes.
