the big easy bowl is delicious man thats what i get everytime and they never ave messed it up it red beans rice and simmered chicken with cheese and herbs............................................. ..............................definately a must try

 

It's a Nawlins based franchise that's gone global. Purty good stuff too. Wish we had one around here.

 

there was a video...about Popeyes running a chicken special.. and them running out of chicken and alot of people being disapointed... and everyone of the people they interviewed where black...and they wonder why they are associated with chicken

around here... "KFC is for the whites" and "Popeyes is for the blacks"...

in my opinion...

KFC has better sides
Popeys has better chicken
however...id rather eat my own chicken and sides

Great sides like mashed taters & gravy, red beans 'n rice... spicy dark meat legs & thighs is awesome, but watch out - it causes some serious Mud-Blastin' next morning.

I found Popeyes when I was stationed in Norfolk, VA. I liked Bojangles (kind of a smaller copycat chain) better though.

They acutally have one in Casper, WY now. I stop by whenever I am in Casper...

 

Only been there once - by the airport in Houston - was it was pretty good.

 

popeys is good but nothin beats bojangles. kidda hard to find if your not in the south

 

I went to the one IN the Houston airport. And that was not great. Anything in an airport I've found never to be that impressive though.

I find KFC is hit and miss too...I stopped going a long time ago because all the ones around here are pure *****. Some of the ones in the smaller cities are really good though.
