The damage was done in Texas? Let us know what happens. I was hit on the freeway one night and when we stopped spinning the driver of the car took off on foot. Police were called and insurance handled it as a hit and run and I was not responsible. If you have any friends or friends of friends in the body shop business, they will take care of you and your deductible.

Yeah, it was in Texas. They are going to handle it as a hit and run and uninsured motorist, so no fault against me or my wife and it should cut my deductible down to $250.

That sucks hope it works ok. You know you can have people towed for blocking your driveway.

Next time someone is blocking the driveway call the cops and have it towed. They cannot block your right of way.

I would have called and had the car towed, but I wasn't there. I found out about the whole thing after the fact.

Anyway...Talked to the wife today....$1500 in damage, I guess the body shop is hooking her up though, so I shouldn't have to pay a deductible out of pocket, and she ordered a mirror for half the price of what the bodyshop could get it for, so shes saving some money there too. I guess the guy that owns this bodyshop used to work at the bodyshop that did the work on it last time it was hit and He's going to fix some stuff that the other shop kinda messed up.

These days, "Serving the Country" doesn't seem to matter to some people. Everyone seems to be out for themselves! I got side swiped by another soldier at 0200 one morning on post at Ft. Campbell, KY in 1993. He was drunk, so even HE did a hit and run. Got caught, though. But only because I ran him down on foot and found out which garage he pulled into. MP's took it from there, Rogney King Style!

Thanks for serving, FE. From a fellow "Hooker". If I don't know you, I know people who do know you. Got a friend up here at Wainwright that did that A-2/52 Pakistan mission as well, so I figure you were both there, together. Make it home safe, Bro. And if you ever want to see where half of the diesel trucks produced by the manufacturers end up, just come to Alaska! There are three white Laramie Megacabs in the Chinook parking lot, alone. And that's just the white ones!
