Why do they have to make the truck drivers look like the bad guys some times?

 

Uh, because they're texting?

 

they probably chose the truck drivers because they can be tracked for studies like this much more easily than joe schmoe in his Lexus....personally texting while driving should be illegal, and have the same punishment as a speeding ticket...

 

It's illegal in California(along with practically everything else) and hasn't really stopped the idiots from txting and crashing, still happens all the time here. Jet heard a story the other day on the news, a flatbed tow truck driver hauling a car and txting, hit another vehicle, bounced off and through someone's fence into their swimming pool!! Sure saved some time by not pulling over first!!!

 

Yeah texting and driving isn't the smartest decision.
