If you're asking about a 12 volt adapter so you can plug your laptop in the cigarette lighter, no.. they're not all the same.. Different laptops have different voltage requirements. If you go that route, make sure what you buy will be compatible with what you have.
What I did for mobile power was buy an inverter that plugs into the power point/cigarette lighter. It's rated at 200 watts continuous, and 400 watts peak. I think I paid around 30 bucks for it.. which was cheaper than a 12v adapter cord for my laptop. Not to mention I can run my cell phone charger etc. off of it if I need to.

use the home charger that came with the computer and plug it into the power converter. most laptop chargers draw ~65 watts or so. using that 100watt inverter you should have no problems.....

a 100-150 Watt inverter is PLENTY. Go bigger if you plan to plug other things into it (bigger ones have 2+ plugs as well)

There are other stores than WALMART !!

Here is a link for you car adapter
Car Adapter Fits HP G60-120US, G60-120CA, G60-123CL - eBay (item 190302346772 end time Aug-18-09 12:01:35 PDT)

But I would go with the power inverter myself. I have a 1700watt power inverter, to run just about anything I can think of (except a microwave)

Here is a link to a power inverter @ wally world
Walmart.com: Philips Power Inverter, DVDP32: DVD & Blu-ray Players
(This is about as small as you can get)

This one is a lot better
Walmart.com: Whistler 400-watt Power Inverter with Circuit Pro, PI-400W: Auto Electronics
