Ouch that's harsh. I've done some stupid things myself, and my back hurts most days, and i'm only 20. Doing concrete work and lifting 200lbs a lot doesn't help. Or lifting my sled into my truck myself LOL. I don't have it near as bad, but probably 7 years ago I was running hitch the curb and I felt like someone stabbed me in the spine, pretty much had to crawl home couldn't walk or anything for almost a day, no idea what happened but sure hope I never feel that again. But it's not the worst pain. 3rd degree burns on your back and shoulders from the sun is a lot worse, kind of funny when the doctors asks you why your eyes aren't wattering from the pain. It is rough. I tend to take it easy now, but I still get back pain a lot. I would think if it's not that bad and you take it easy for a while it would heal itself? I know my back is getting better. But it must be rough to need T4's, I though T3's were pretty strong stuff!
I have never taken anything, I pretty much refuse any pills. My body hates them, it tells me if I need them, because if I don't I can't swallow them, no matter how much I try.

From LAX back in school to now, the army, and the fire department, I have more aches and pains that will put me in a wheel chair and hospital bed by the time I am 50. It sucks to wake up and have the old man pains this young, but it does happen. I have arthritis in all 10 of my fingers, right ankle, both knees and a torn to f@wk shoulder/elbow. Enjoy the life you've had to get you there and hold on for the rest!! GO OUT WITH YOUR BOOTS ON!!!
(btw I am only 25 too)

Actually not bad, they put on some cream for them, had bandages on for over a week. But they heavily advised me to never have my shirt off in the sun again. I had pictures of it, but they got lost. It looked brutal, blisters frickening everywhere, and lots of nasty crap to. I didn't think it was that bad, just a really bad burn, but sort of realized how bad it was when the doc said it was the worst sunburn he ever seen. Probably the worst night of my life trying to sleep after that. Laying in bed for like 8 hours wide awake with the pain. Hot sun+water+no sunscreen+light skin=bad bad burn.

3rd degree is complete loss of all layers of skin, with nerve damage, sometimes muscle and bone damage, too. They aren't painful until the nerves begin to heal.
I was wondering if you vacationed on Mercury or something.
