Information Porsche Rejects Volkswagen's Bid, Citing a Loan Problem
The sports car maker said VW's proposed purchase of a 49 percent stake was "unfeasible" because it would create a huge financial penalty.

Shows how much I know... I thought Porsche and Volkswagon were the same conglomerate or whatever.

they used to use alot of the same type parts from the same manufactures but I'm not sure how they are in recent years....although, according to the article, the two families of Porsche (Porsche) and VW (Piech) are "interrelated"....
