Default NEW DIESELS FOR THE NAVY

Here are a couple of pictures of Yanmar powered Seal boats (contractors doing a test/fun run) and a couple of diesel Chevy trucks.

I remember back in the late 70's thru 80's ... every vehicle the military owned was a Chrysler/Dodge back then. (Due to Chrysler being bailed out before.)

Everyone of the cars or trucks we had were junk. I would always think it funny to see the Admiral being driven around in a K-car ...

Will the military (and all government vehicles) be next year's model GM and Chrysler's whether they need replacement vehicles or not? Maybe they'll have Corinthian Leather?

those chevy trucks are cool. Much better than what the GM dealer sells.

See my sig pic for a shot of the original Chevy CUCV (Civilian Utility Cargo Vehicle) trucks. I heard rumors Chevrolet was going to start making the CUCVs again, but I though it was just hot air. I guess not.

God I hated those old lime green junk mobiles. No radio, no air and you never knew how far they were gonna go before they died in the middle of the road. I drove my tactical's any place I had to go cause i wasn't gonna be seen in one a them things.

I was partial to the old blazers myself. Then pickups were geared way to low. 50 mph and you were screamin down the road with the old canvas top tearin off streamin down the highway behind ya like a kite.
