I was looking at just a basic epiphone acoustic guitar. I am bringing a buddy who has been playing for years to help me pick one out though.

 

cool. Epiphone is good stuff. I almost got one but found a closeout deal on a schecter for the same price.

Why the grandpa guitar?
Funny timing I just got done blowing my brains out again. Was really playing well but then I stopped being able to hear myself play. I was playing with my roommate on drums as well. Ears are not happy. Maybe grandpa guitar is better.

 

Grandpa as in acoustic? I have just always like the sound of the acoustic guitars. And it will probably fit into the music I want to play more than an electric.

Not yet, I get paid tuesday and should be able to go pick one up. I pinked around on my friends electric epiphone last night.

I learned by listening to the radio & watching other players fingers....
What ever works!
I don't read a lick, I play by ear.... kinda hard to hold the pick that way sometimes tho....
