If it's a co-worker you definitely need to step back. That can get you into hot water in more ways than one. Especially if she has a boyfriend, then you have to deal w/ the boyfriend coming up and accusing you of attempting to take his girl.

Yeah, I'm just going to be patient and take it one day at a time, if she's happy with her boyfriend it's not my place to infringe on that. She probably knows something's up, I can be read like a 1st grade picture book. But thanks for your replies and please keep them coming.

then get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree, get a degree.......

I already live with my parents, housing is insane up here. I already spent my savings getting an education, Heavy Oil Operations Technician, and Fourth Class Power Engineer's Certificate of Competency. Now if I could just find a job that would pay me to use this, I'm stuck in Pharmaceuticals right now.

Why is everyone pushing him to get a degree? But I guess I know nothing and have nothing to offer since I'm only a dumb ditch digger that makes more then anyone I know that went to school.

you're right! a degree guarantees you nothing...
except 2 of my best friends both met their wives in college...
and maybe your boss or his boss has a degree.

The payoff: post-college incomes are 60% higher than those of high school graduates and that, on average, means $1 million more in lifetime income.

Bill Gates was a college drop-out, however if he hadn't gone to college, he never would have met the friends that helped him become this nations most wealthy..... and by the way, his wife is hot!

i own a small company that sells to wally world....
in some of my stores you now have to a college degree to become a deptment manager....
above the level of dept mgr. you have to have a degree in all the wal-mart stores that i serve....
i only mention the above info bc most people like to bad mouth wally world and say what a bad place it is to work.... college grads are working there now.....

my wife will retire from teaching next year with an outstanding benefit package, her age will be 54, 32 years of teaching....everybody talks about how lousy school teachers are paid, well, not her.... she's at the top of her pay scale and the school district will be able to hire 2.5 new teachers for what they are paying her....
