There are 2 wires running up by the steering wheel Me and the boy was riding it today ...still no breaks ,,,, then i touched the wires and it killed the engine Sweet , We went down for more Gas ..LOL $20 in my gas can WTF !

And Stopped and got a toggle ,

I mounted it on the steering collum , It has an LED the first way i had it hooked up the little LED was lit COOL but either way i switched it it wouldnt kill it , I move the wires around and now it kills it but the LED dont light , Ive tried just about all combinations and even positapped both wires and pigtailed the 3rd prong and it still wont light up

I want it lit when its running ,

I have ONe chassis Ground Wire and 1 wire from the engine

The Toggle has 3 Prongs , Power/***/Ground

Ive tried diffrent combinations and cant under stand why when i swich the Power/*** Around it still only kills it with the led side os the toggle pushed in , I would think is would make it backwards , ITs a Rocker Style with a little LED embedded on one side

What do i need to do to make it when the LED side is Pushed in Its On and the LED is lit and when the other side is pushed in its off and kills it ?

It would take a battery to keep it lit, you need to put it to the *** prong I think, seriously. This should keep it lit when on and not when off.

 

IT was lit w/o a battery , it lit when it was running Now it dont light at all ,

2 wires one is ground so im ***'in that the other is power as the light lit

How does this kill the engine ?

 

The motor was making it be lit with electricity it was producing. Do you want it to be lit when it is in the correct position to start the motor or only when running? By hooking a battery to it the light can light when in the correct position and then the motor will take over and keep it lit once running. The light will be off when not running and not in the on position

 

I want it lit when running only So if the wires get cut the light will be out and ill know there a problem

It wont light at all and the ground pin is MT but it kills the engine like its suppose to when switch to off and not on even if i switch the *** and power around it still runs in the off position and dies when flipped to on
