If you could build a house anywhere, where would it be?

If you could build a house anywhere, where would it be?
Alright, so I'm really thinking its time to get out of NY (at least the suburban area, and not to go farther into the city). I've looked around, and I have some ideas, but what about you guys? Even if you don't plan on moving, where would you go if you had the opportunity? I look at Whitmore's cabin and get jealous ... Not that my place is bad, but Buffalo is a dying city, and I'm a country boy that had the city grow around him (well the town did anyway).
So what's your fancy?

Not too far from where I live right now.
(knock on wood) for being full of left wing wackos and having the rep of "the house that Bill built" for the most part western Washington still has a lot going for it.
There is some pretty country up here...close to the mountains, close to the ocean, you can go play in the rat race of 3 million people if you want to, or leave downtown Seattle and in under 30 minutes be in the middle of nowhere..just you and a yellow Weyco gate, preferably open...
I'm young but have had the opportunity to live and work all over the U.S....keep coming back "home". Guess it's just human nature...???...
