I'm a cashier, so I hear some rather odd questions from customers about how they're paying their bill, but this one was the best so far and I felt a need to share:

I closed my account with this bank. Can I still use the card to pay for my repairs?

...and yes, she was being dead serious.

 

I believe it some people should have fallen off the short bus along time ago.

I should've, huh! Then she would've been trying to figure out why it was declined!

 

sarcasm is often the best response to people like that it fun to watch.

she comes back in say's "she told me it would work"
and you say "No i didn't! why would i say that? it's obvious it wouldn't work"

 

wow... sometimes I ask dingbat questions... but definitely not one like that

 

That seems rather odd for a person to ask...esp their cashier?? Hope she had alternative way to pay...

 

Sounds like an ID10T trouble code...
