Wasn't that hard to call. We don't work anywhere near that hard. Just get paid more.

I do know the feeling though, was in the Navy.

 

The NAVY & I just didn't get along, It's a long story, But it started in A school, we had a battle of who had the biggest ***** ???

 

Lot's of jobs for merchant marines right now. Our wages just shot up in the last 2-3 years by up to 50% in some cases after being flat lined for the last 20 plus years. We are a dying breed but the need keeps rising for anyone interested.....

 

I get motion sickness seeing two girls playing tennis, the wife been begging me to go on a cruise with her, cause I won't do it, the last two times I've been on a boat, I got sea-sick in the BAHAMAS on the glass bottom boat, BUT I didn't get sick when I went to pay my respect to ALL those sailors that lost their lives on DEC. 7 1941 in PEARL HABOR !!

 

sounds like my kind of job.......and 12 hours a day is nothing........

 

Looks like there's only two of us on DB, and we both work on the same ship. That's a damn shame. I'm gonna have to get the word out to all my fellow Merchant Marine Engineers. We need some more representation here.
