Default Lookin for an AR-15...

Once i get my tax return back i'm gonna be in the market for an AR-15. I prefer a DPMS but i'll look at other manufacturer's. Just figured i'd ask on here to see if anyone's got one for sale or know of a used one for sale. There so stinkin hard to find in any shops right now because of Osama.

If you can't get a AR-15, what about a RUGER MINI-14 ????

How could you even compare those two?

I've thought about an AR-15, but I'd really prefer the AR-10, the heavier bullets just have better ballistics.

I totally agree with you, I like 7.62x51 alot better than 5.56x45, but it kicks more, cost more, weights more, penetrates more, I always say shoot what you like

Yeah, well, I figure if I'm gonna have an AR, it might as well be something I can drop something with, . I know the cons, but they really don't kick much, while it costs more I'm gonna shoot a lot of either, and I reload my own. Penetration can rarely be a con in my eyes, , and weight can be tough to deal with, but I am 6'1 245, so I should be able to handle it, .
