I want a MP5
I really do want one. I love them when I go shooting. I would like the Pistol and the Sub Machine Gun for home protection. Anyone else have one? I'm thinking about the tube one they have at the shop and they have a pistol but looks to be beaten to death. All well enjoy the Videos .

Save your money.
Here is a rough price guide for these MP5 Submachineguns.
MP5 All models: Average sale price is $18,000 Low price $17,000
MP5SD (Silenced Model): Average price is $16,000 Low pricve $13,750
Keep in mind that you will have to pay a $200 Tax stamp to transfer the weapon to your name. (THIS APPROVAL IS DONE BY THE B.A.T.F.E.)
Some of these will require two stamps, depending on who you are purchasing from. Your local C.L.E.O. may also need to sign off unless you have other options.
Then you still have to feed the little beast and they are a little finicky on what they will digest.
If you are considering NFA weapons you should start out with a MAC11 or an UZI.
MAC11s prices are in the $3400 to $4000 dollar range.
UZIs are in the $7000 dollar range.
If you want more detail, send me a P.M.
Your better off with a 12 gauge pump for home defense.

I already have plenty of 12 Guages and I have a Defender with pistol grip. I am just looking for a nice SBR or Sub Machine Gun Well I would be fine with a civilian model MP5 I know how to Bump fire them. Price doesn't matter to me either.
Come on now it's a MP5 or maybe a SMG .45 something along those lines.

Spend some of your money on a good 12 gauge pump or SA with pistol grip....the Defender has a cast aluminum receiver and a multitude of stamped parts--a Remington 870 "Express" (Wal Mart gun) is about a half-step up in quality from a Winny 1300.
Get a 870 or 11-87 Police.

Have you looked into the HK94 or SP89?
