Default damages

so what all have ou broken on your quad?

my cousin flipped one of our honda 250s and bent the fram up a tad.
some guy i don't know ran into a tree and totalled our yamaha grizzly. the frame was bent from front to back on the left side. $3600 for repairs. insurance is buying it from us for 4k.

most i've done personally is side swiped a tree with the front tire on a trail doin about 45. now there is a piece of bark between the rim and tire. didn't mess up anything though.

oh yeah and wayyyy back in the day me and my cousin played dukes of hazzard in his off road go-cart and flipped it upside down ccause i decided to jump a mound of hay. and since i didn't want to go really high in the air i decided to go over the sloped part. and when we flipped over i unbuckled my seatbelt and fell into the ground
i wasn't very smart as a kid...

I was at the trails and on my friends YFZ450 with a brand new Ice Cube Big Bore Stroker Kit it is up to 513 I believe with his Cams Head Work among other things I decided to take it for a spin see if I wanted to get the Ice Cube kit also.

So I gunned this thing and it comes to a part with a little jump we built over this mudhole .. I normaly pin it last second to clear them on my YFZ450 but I did't need to do this on his I pinned it right before the jump as soon as I did I knew I was going way to fast. I over shot the landing by about 10 feet pretty big air time for a little jump.

So I land real rough lost control rolled to the side and it flipped It rolled and rolled Ended up Breaking his Subframe Plastics Headlights Clutch Cover Left A Arms nothing good at all. All in all cost me close to $ 5,000 to replace the parts on his quad cause he had +1 A Arms Carbon Fiber Everything and Headlights.

But the most damage I have ever done to mine is bent the sub frame twice. Which on a YFZ450 isn't cheap

rolled my trx450r the first summer I had it (05) ,missed a turn goin a little too fast, bent a back rim, rear subframe and the muffler can has come nasty dents in it hooked a front tire in the soft snow yesterday trying to go down a trail that only had one snomobile track down it so I had to stay in 4th gear 1/2-3/4 throtle sitting on the back of the seat to stay moving w/out getting stuck, when it hooked I knew I was going over and the best part of snow runnin is the landings don't hurt as bad when you roll you just get back up and flip it up right and keep bikin

tried the tracks and skies on a 400ex demo bike worked pretty good but i can't see a clutch lasting too long ,I run 4 tracks on my 01 honda rubicon it works very good can go places the sleds can't through the snow but the speed is very limited and power is cut way back but I do use it to yard wood during the winter months
