Like the title states, what kinda Scooter ya ridin?
Im lookin for somethin at the moment but im having a hard time keeping away from them 40 & 50K dollar Venagance bikes. Post em up!

Haven't rid'in in 15 years but have the bike I got new at 14...an 81 Yamaha 250 exciter! It's a screamin machine. A good head wind and you'll have trouble getting much over 55:)
It sat for a few years so trying to get it rolling again and use it as a glorified scooter.

i have owned 5 bikes.

now i have a 86 750 gsxr and a 80 cb750f super sport.

my favorite bike of all was the ducati monster. comfortable bike to ride
nice bike all around.

I ride a 1990 yamaha radian 600cc 4 cylinder. Great beginner bike and gets excellent fuel mileage and pretty comfy as long as you arent 6 foot tall

I have a 2003 Harley Classic Softail....its the 100 year anniversary special and the best part is my girlfriend bought it for me :up:

She just bought her a brand new off the show room floor a 2007 Harley 1220 sporster low

i have always wondered how comfterable are those handle bars?

Here`s my `94 FXSTS

i love em....i went from drag bars mounted on 6in risers to 16in apes with 1 1/2in risers...as long as you hands are not over your shoulders you will be fine. riding with the apes i sit alot more upright and my back is straight where with the drag bars i was hunched over and that killed my lower back.....so to answer your question they are very comfortable for me. but everyone is different...

maybe i should swap my clip on's on my gsxr for some apes LOL

Maybe I need to look into some ape's, I have the stock bars on now, and thought about going to the drag bars to help some. I took off the stock seat and put on a Mustang solo, and my back always ends up hurting after 100 miles.

I am thinking about just biting the bullet and getting a passenger seat and putting it on just to get some lower back support.

I'm now looking into getting some kind of adventure sport bike next...something like a Suzuki V-Strom or KTM Adventure 990.

Hope to have 1 running if not before snow flies then by next year. Dad has one almost the same as Racer9 except its a 82. Hasn't been ridden since 85, just sitting in the shed. Got my lic 2 years ago but never had the money to buy my own or the time to fix dads. He can't ride, bad back. Although I cant wait to ride it I think he made a poor choice keeping it. In about 84 mom told him to either sell the bike or sell the 69 charger burnt orange w/ 383 magnum. He chose poorly.

I know bla... bla... bla... dad had this dad had that but I'm still bitter.

if your dad's done kicking himself then i'd like to take my turn now.

just sold the R6, still got the 96 honda F3 with turbo, down for now. Its got alot of other custom work as well so I will be putting it back in shape when I get a truck in the 12's, and yes it is(was) extremely fast.

My father in law and I are working on an 07 HD sportster 1200 that got layed into a pole.. working on putting it all back together now, and changing the color at the same time. Going from White to Cobalt blue. Almost there. Just waiting on the gas tank and rear fender to show up, and I'll be on it.

2007 Ducati Monster 695 here. Flat Black and loving it. There is also a pic of the Duc in the back of my GMC fits like a glove and they look sweet together and I threw in a pic of the V65 Magna I had before the Ducati (nice starter bike)
