i wouldn't worry about it, the newer version is usually the better version.. you'll never get ahead. personally my style daytona and yours are my 2 favorites. i think there was like 2 others in between where triumph changed to a regular swing arm apposed to the single sided like i have. also they had some with one big head light. instead of 2 small ones. that just doesn't turn me on i guess.
honestly i was going to by a hayabusa, but i found this triumph on CL.
not many triumph guys up here they are pretty rare. but i'll tell yah, i have no regrets!
the bike is fast and handles nice to boot! i never would have seen my self as a triumph fan.

Oh I'm not worried. They're always coming out with something bigger and better. I'm 100% satisfied with my daytona. Only had one problem with a spring that wouldn't let the clutch back out but 10 minutes at the shop and haven't had another problem. But I was going to get a GSXR600 at first but the one I wanted sold before I got the money, and after researching I came out ahead and spent less on my daytona

07 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 with chip/cobra pipes. Thinking about a hypercharger on it as well. I LOVE that bike! My old man is on the harley fatboy next to me. Rode them both and have to go with the vulcan; bigger, faster, smoother, more comfortable. The harley sounds better, but not by much

Let me guess, it's a '98?? In '99 they did away with the T595 decal and went with the 955i decal by the Daytona one. I had a red '99 955i Daytona I bought new in '98. Sold it last year with 27,xxx miles on it. Absolutly loved that bike and hated to see it go, but I had to make room for it's replacement, a '99 Ducati 996s.
