Anybody here ever try eharmony? I met a girl I really like and we've been talking on the phone just about every night for a few hours. I'm not sure how you go from that to flying to meet each other, curious if anybody here has done it before?

I know all this computer and dating service stuff is all the rage right now but I still can't see it. I'm old and crotchety when you meet me in person but in pictures I look like a young hunk of a stud. And if I can be that different then my picture I don't wanna know what them women are hidin.

I wish ya luck with this. Seems like some pretty slim odds but I know times are tough in the dating scene.

 

Yeah try coming to small town Wyoming. I'm 28 and own my own successful business, like a magnet for every white trash divorcee around. She's a good 2000 miles away, got a current photo,and sent her a few current ones of me. We seem to be hitting it off, but I'm a little nervous about shelling out a bunch of cash to fly somewhere for a weekend and have it totally suck.

 

where does she live, maybe one of the members here live closer and can spy on her for ya

At 2000 miles away what are you gonna do even if you do hit it off. Your not gonna get married after the first date and that's an expensive 2nd date. Not tryin to be a downer here but it sounds like a no win scenario to me no matter how good she is.
