Even if you were gonna buy from someone here you'd have to have it shipped from a FFL dealer to another FFL dealer... I had a Glock 23 shipped to me, they charged me $140 to box and ship it from NC to NY . I'd just go to your local dealer, that way if you ever need any accessories or service they know your name and will take care of you since they got your business the first time around.

The 357Sig is a very hot load. The Sig is a very reliable piece in my experience.

I carry a Sig P239 everyday, all summer long.. It's chambered for 357Sig and I bought the 40 cal. barrel and spring.

During the winter I switch to my Sig P229 I have all three barrels for that one 9mm, 357sig and 40 cal.

The sig is a very smooth piece. I think you will like it.

I've got both the 239 and 229 chambered in 357Sig and they are some sweet poodle shooters

Check out Comp-Tac for IWB holsters as they make some superb holsters, I've got a CTAC and want to get the Minotaur MTAC. For belt use ya want to check out Raven Concealment Systems The Malabar Front as nobody makes thinner better belt holsters than Raven does. I've got one of there light holsters for the 229/tlr-1 combo and it's a superb holster. Course ya also need a great belt & a Wilderness 5 stitch is a superb belt &I also love mine.

Could be a few things causing this, tuff to know without looking at it. My first guess would be carbon buildup down inside the locking pin. Spray it down with some penetrating oil and let it sit for a few hours then spay it again to clean away anything it breaks up. Even better if you get your hands on some Breakfree, that stuff cuts through anything.

Also might be a warped cylinder from overheating. The only other thing I can think of is if your one a those guys watchin to many old cop shows where they flip the cylinder shut every time they close it. In the real world this tends to bend the locking pins and the cylinder ends up out of alignment.

The XD's are nice but to me they are nothin more then over priced Glocks in the way the frame is built. If I'm goin that route I'm already a Glock fan. They also tend to be a little big in the frame for everyday carry pieces.

biggest reason they use the larger frame is cause they are double stackers.....and that makes for a fairly wide gun in .45 ACP.....but i like the fit of the gun cause i got big hands.....you can get them in 3 sizes.......tactical 5.5 inch, 4.5 inch compact, and 3.5 inch subcompact......or whatever they are....i cant remember

SIG are excellent, I have a P226 in 9mm & a P220 in 45acp, But when it comes down to one gun to defend my life, It has to be a 1911 type or a double-action with ****-N-LOCK !!!!! And you must have a round in the chamber !!!

I think ur right about the cylinder being warped i traded my cuz'n a single action .357 for it and he thinks he's ol wyatt erp or somethin when he goes shootin so there aint no tellin how many times it's been flipped closed or how hot it's gotten.
