I have no experience with either of those phones but I use the Treo 755p through Sprint Palm - Products - Palm Treo 755p Smartphone
and I am very happy with it. Receive and send my emails with it, text messages, google maps, etc... Last year on a Elk hunt in Colorado my phone (then was the Treo 650) was the only phone with any service out of our group of 12...

Well, Ive not had these phones... But i have had 3 HTC's in the past, before getting the iPhone. HTC is a very good phone IMO..
I see the Pro here has a full keyboard, which makes surfing and texting ALOT easier for small fingers.. Looks like the Diamond version will have a touch keyboard like the iPhone, and, while it took some getting used to, I really like my iPhone keyboard over the wifes last 2 Blackberry's.
The Touch Diamond shows that the battery life is nearly 1/2 of the Touch PRO, but thats because of the extra processor it takes to run everything. Also, The Touch Diamond has the ability to use up to 4GB of memory through the use of an expanded SD Card, like for storing files, photos, music, etc.. the Touch PRO does not..
Looks like either way you decide to go, they both look like a great phone..
