my boss had a quadruple by pass last february. and his doctor told him he needs to loose some weight. he's not a big person any way but he's far from being muscular.
he doesn't even have calis on his hands. myself and the other guy do all the work.
my boss was bragging the other day about how much weight he lost says 25lbs.
he does look better no doubt. i asked him how he lost it. he says he gave up eating meats.
he he turned in to a vegetarian. i told him i was a vegetarian for 6 years.
yes believe it or not. when i was wrestling in school that was an easy way for me to stay in my weight class. but like i told my boss being vegetarian was unhealthy.
his response was gees i lost all kinds of weight, so i must be healthy.
i told him when i wasn't eating meats i felt run down alot. i had a hard time putting on muscle weight because i wasn't getting enough creatine or protein.
i took supplements but it didn't seem to be enough.
also we as humans are genetically designed to be omnivores.
we have teeth for ripping and tearing meat.
he's stubborn and bound he's right even though i had several good points.

White Flour = suger.. suger doesnt break down,, adds fat cells,, they have no way out
Fish is the best source of Omega Fatty Acids.. great for the brain...
Red meat is full of protien, so is nuts and seeds.
Exersice will keep ya in shape.
Eat smart~ drink lots of Beer (water)~dont smoke!~Excersise regularly, come walk my hill daily..its a good butt~thigh~calf burner. Carrying Lexi keeps my arms, abs and back in good shape...
your boss should have some protien shakes Bow if hes not eating meat..lest he will get good energy, and want to help ya out around the shop more.

when i was a kid my parents had me eating vegetarian and i was a twig then when i hit high school started eating meat and everything and was finnally able to put on some weight.
You should tell your boss all it takes is lots of cardio to loss weight. I was able to drop 25lbs in a month and a half when i got to Korea because i was running at least 5 miles a day every day.
