i had one on my griz and for deep mud and snow it was great. for normal trail riding thru the mountains is sucked. every hill climb , off camber trail or droping into a creek off the bank it wanted to roll. so now the lift is sitting in my tool box.....if all you do it run mud holes and play in snow then yes its worth it.....

HI scarecrow, THANK YOU for your reply. My friends like going thur mud that feels like syrup, and like going into deep water, I don't like mistreating my QUAD like that, I was told that a lift kit would break my rear-end and axle. I'm going to buy either KENDRA mud tires or GBC gators 27-12-12 mud tires and see if that makes a differance?????

I have a two inch on my Brute force and I like it because i was able to fit the 29.5 Outlaws on it but to make up for the lift i also put 2.5inch wheel spacers all the way around so that i wouldnt be as easy to tip. And i can go through some nasty stuff now!!

HI pngmotoman, THANK YOU for your reply, I want to be able to get to anywhere I want, but I don't want to break my QUAD, or my wallet !!!! My next move will be 27' GBC GATORS mud-tires.

it does make your quad take a beating but i only broke stuff after i did stuff to the internals to my quad. I'm glad you are going with gators though instead of MudLites like a lot of people go with because from my experiance with them all they did for me was get me stuck faster because they are made to dig to the bottom and in AK there really never was a bottom that often

HI pngmotoman, That's a nice MUD-SLINGing TRUCK !!!!!! I want to get one, but I will need two sets of rims and tires, since it will also be my daily driver. Back to the ARTIC CAT, I have 25 inch DUNLOP tires, with 10psi in the tires. I've tried 3psi and 16psi, was not happy with either, so i'll try 10psi on FRIDAY. Also my friends like going thur NASTY MUD !!! so I had to buy a 2000 LB SUPERWINCH.
