86 k5, 6in lift on 35s, built 350ci.

Im going to put it to work this hunting season...

I've seen an attempt to do that before the DMAX was too big for the frame but a 6.5L will go in it

i know this defeats the whole purpose of diesels but if the duramax dont work take out the 350 and put in a nice built 454. plenty of torqe for half the price

the 350 has...
edelbrock cam
edelbrock intake
650 carb
valve job
roller rockers
screw in studs
guide plates
and the ports are cleaned up.
and the trans is justa worn out 700r4, its gettin rebuilt within a few weeks but the guy that did my diesel but he mainly builts power glides and other trannys for races cars.
i have a hi-performance 4bolt main BBC in the garage but its waitin for a new home in a boat.

if it was to get anything it would get a 12v CTD but the mighty small block is just fine
