Hey thanks for the service, i am sure you got the job done to the fullest!! How long did you get to serve and why was you medically discharged?

in '92 I ruptured 2 disks in my lower back, I fought the med board until july 1994 trying to stay in, but with the cutbacks at the time, they finally said that they would not keep me...
I was a "AAV Mechanic" W/ Cummins 903 "Beast" I do try to help others when I can, I learned the VA system pretty good after I had to have Surgery in 2002 and they cut the sciatic nerve to my left leg, (rookie surgian) so now, when I find out about someone locally that is having problems getting their VA Bennies I try to lend a hand. Sometimes I can help, sometimes I cannot...

Sorry to hear that they wouldn't keep you!!! It is pretty awesome, in fact i just launched out my Aircraft!! I will be getting out though, going to be a diesel Mech, and start my own shop!! I'll be moving back to good ole KY!!

Agricultural Feed Producer, Mechanic, Laborer, Researcher... On the side, Timber Feller and Arborist (Depends on who wants what done), Carpenter and Handyman... I don't get out much, .

im a mechanic for Kellogg, Brown and Root out of Houston Texas and im presently stationed in An Nasiryah Iraq at Ali Ab airbase fixing army battle vehicles (im on TDY right now at a different base)......part owner of a 650 acre farm in ohio and a 4x4 and diesel performance shop on the side when i can in lakeland florida.......hopefully within the next 6 months i will move over to Red River, DoD, or DynCorp and become an MRAP mechanic making 200K a year.........i got an Associates Degree in Applied Science of High Performance Technologies from the University of Northwestern Ohio.......less than a year out of college and making 85k a year......and within the next year......over 200K......i think im doing pretty good for myself.....
