It's partially rebuilt, by me.
new rod bearings , new pistons , gaskets , honed the cylinders and put it back together, I had the engine shop put the pistons on the rods for me, but i did everything else in the evenings after work, and assembled it this afternoon.
I paid 500$ for the vehicle , 466$ on engine parts , 60 bucks for two filters and 12L of oil, and about 25 hours of my time , total invested = 1526$ ( counted my time at 20$ an hour) I still need to fix a rust spot on each front fender, and a couple other little things.

heck with that, just chop the fenders up, throw on a 5 inch lift and some 35's and go rock crawling.......

You can still see the outline from the primer if you look hard enough , but i am fairly impressed with myself, i think it turned out fairly well for a farm kid who knows nothing about body work or painting...
