I won an auction for an Ipod last night, I paid for it and this guy still hasn't contacted me. I sent him like three messages on ebay and two emails. What should I do?

 

I would at least give him until tomorrow morning to respond. If not by then leave him N feedback when the item arrives. If he doesn't respond by the next week or your item doesn't arrive, you can leave him - feedback.

I see the one N was from someone that probably didn't give him a chance to replace the item. Sometimes it takes a seller at least till the end of the day to reply. Normally, buyers don't leave feedback until the item arrives. That way if it's defective, you can contact the seller on getting a replacement. Patience grasshopper!!!!

 

...patience is a friggin virtue that I don't have right now...the bastage is screwin me over for 11 dollars on shipping...he can get the danged thing out like...now..

 

It sometimes takes me about 3 emails to get a response that they shipped the item. Sometimes I don't get any response and it the item shows up 3 days later.

Because your a new member, he's probably going to wait until the payment clears before he ships the item. If you don't receive the item by the week of the 20th, file a report with Payal.


I didn't receive an item I paid for. Does eBay offer insurance?

 

Man, I just wish the guy would just send me a message. You have no idea how much that would ease my mind. Maybe send me a picture of the actual Ipod I'll be getting or something like that...something to appease me.

 

I've run into those situations. Some of the people that play ebay, only check their auctions on the weekends. Kind of stinks when they have your money and you don't have the goods. I've gotten anxious a couple of times, but it's all worked out. Good Luck...
