You will eventually get used to sleeping in the day. When I worked night shift I would come home and do stuff, then go to bed about 8 hours before I had to get up for work. I also put a dark blanket/towel over the window so that no light would get through. My body got so used to sleeping during the day I could sleep without the covering the window. I might be wierd because I can also work swing shift (work 1st, sleep 2nd, work 3rd, sleep 1st, work 2nd, sleep 3rd, work 1st) and not miss a beat.

Anyway congrats on the job man.

Working shift work, esp. graves takes a real toll on your body. It will take 10 years off your life there young man. Watch the food intake as well because the weight will pack on from screwing with your internals.

Don't ask me how I know.

Hey CumminsCrazed Do you really think it's a good idea to have a fram filter for your avatar. Or did you switch jobs? I thought you were working for Cummins. I'm all confused

well ive never heard of working a graveyard shift taking years off someones life, however the whole packing on pounds makes sense which is why i eat very little during the night there, usually a half a sandwich and maybe a side of fruit or something along with consuming liquids throughout the night
