No kidding, my son Devin has the 93 chevy, hes hurting for gas money, spends all his check filling it up. Hes looking for a new little car to drive around in the summer.. but thats good for them, teaches them real quick not to drive around aimlessly, like we use too......

 

I cut out on driving around in circles last summer when gas was around 2.60/gal. i guess i'm screwed either way, i was driving a 71 ford that got 6-8 mpg highway paying 2.60/gal. now i'm getting 18 mpg with 4.01/gal. i guess if your are wanting to buy something or go some were you might as well go ahead and do it while it's still "cheap"er

 

I still remember when I pumped gas in high school (~1986). Gasoline was 39.9 cents a litre which is roughly $1.50 a gallon. Ah, the "good old days".

The first time I went to Texas (~1997) gas was 88 cents a gallon.

 

man I have always had a problem affording fuel it seems like everytime I get a lil ahead and can afford it they bump it up again
