finally i ordered them:

Xenon 02-05 Dodge Ram LED Halo Projector Headlights HID
they're being shipped fedex ground so maybe 3 to 4 business days and i should have them.....
this purchase is a little bit of a crap shoot bc they never return the e-mails sent through e-bay.... i've got a new e-mail address since purchasing these lights and maybe they'll answer it..... don't have anything to question them about tho.... this is a huge weird e-bay vendor, they require a longer check-out then normal and about 3 instant e-mail confirmations from vendor.... also there is no phone number available for this company..... prolly wouldn't be able to find anyone who spoke english anyway..... to protect my purchase i used a credit card through pay-pal.......if they don't ship i can get my money back through the credit card company..... at this time i'm guessing the lights are made in china using jap parts..... i'll let you know more when i get them....

found out a little more info,
the lights i ordered have japan's JDM 8000 HID kits in them, these HIDs are used only for the low beam....high beam is a high/low halogen projector with a blue lens.....i guess the low halogen is the parking lights/turn signal lights....

here's the only thing about these lights i don't like...... they just seem too cheap...... will never know that answer until after i install them and use them for quite some time......

the JDM kits from japan sell for $260.00 check out link above....

another after install question i have is regarding the light pattern's top cut-off on the projectors ..... will it be clean, straight, and sharp???
i'm too much of perfectionist.....for the money i'm paying.....
what really screwed me up was when i rented a M35 for a week that had HIDs, that car had the best lighting system i've ever seen.

Thats why I havent sprung for them....quality seems pretty spotty as well as performance. I hate spending hard earned money on crap....$260 isnt a lot of money but still.

I wonder where the quality HID kits are? Anyone have some links? Some time ago I remember hearing that HID kits were $600-800. Has the price came down that much? or are we missing the good kits? I dunno.

here's my opinion,
i don't think one can use a HID kit just bc it will plug in a 9004 or 9007 socket.... OEM reflectors will scatter the light and blind the on coming drivers...
i think they have to be used only with a projector with a correct cut-off of the top of the light pattern, guaranteeing that they won't blind the oncoming drivers.....

this is only an opinion.....if anybody knows something for sure, feel free to contradict......

received the lights today....install was easy.....

high beam works great but it uses a halogen bulb in a projector
these lights have a crystal clear top cut-off.....they won't blind anyone....
i'm not giving an opinion until i aim them correctly....
too tired to mess with them tonight, aiming will need to be done at night.
the factory aiming is terrible.....

thanks to this guy
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html

aiming the light beams on these was made possible, thanks to his easy to follow his directions....
it turns out my lights are US DOT VOL

it took me about a half an hour during the day today used a wall in the garage, now i can't wait to see them at night.
i guess for maximum non-glare and safety the factory points the lights down... this makes certain that someone with a little smarts aims them correctly....
the lights come with a notch in the top cut-off telling you the exact center of the beam.....

more later
