Default La Cucarachas

I Hate **** Roaches.... I just saw 2, which probably means I have 12 million of the little buggers hiding somewhere.

Are there any home remedies for getting rid of **** roaches? The house and kitchen is clean, no food is left out etc. My house is 70 years rock house old on a slab.

Usually when I see them we have rain the next day, but we don't have any rain in the forecast and as a matter of fact we are under a 5 county burn ban due to lack of recent rains.

It's going to take the professionals to get "roach free." If you can't go that route, get you some Roach'Pruf (Boric acid) and squirt it in all cracks and crevices you can get to. Put little piles in the corners of cabinets. If you have a crawl space under the house, this'll be the breeding ground. The Boric acid won't work if it gets wet, so you'll have to "bomb" it. The Raid fumigator that youo drop in a cup of water works/last a good long time. Even then, there's always new ones hitching a ride in to your house. In cardboard boxes for example. Boxes/cartons are stored in warehouses where roaches live and lay eggs. I lived in TX all my life until 2 yrs ago and always had roaches. YUK.

BTW you need to watch Verminators on The Discovery Channel. Mondays at 1900hrs, I think.

yup there are people out there that are just plain filthy.....

Mythb usters did a special and used like 1000X the human deadly dose of radiation and them boogers were still alive..... i wander if they glowed in the dark after that?

i use bombs (the little cans that fog an area) in my house. had to re bomb the garage last week because i started seeing them again..... my house is 104 years old so there are plenty of hiding spots for them...... i need to spread something under the house to try to prevent their comeback......

My house is only 60+ years old... but still plenty of places to hide.

We haven't really had any rain, that used to be the way I would judge if it were going to rain; that I would see some roaches.

Maybe now, since it hasn't rained in such a long time, they are coming in to find water. All around the house, you can stick your fingers between the dirt and and slab. The soil has dried up so much.

I try to water my foundation every few days to keep it from drying out too much.

For whatever reason, I'm still seeing roaches every night.
