So what is going on this weekend?

We are going with 2 other couples to the lake to cook out and play in the water. It is going to be nice. We bought a boat 3 years ago and have only put it in the water about 10 times, none in the past 2 years.

 

with the cost of diesel ($4.499) my butt will be stuck in the chair studying the inside of my eyelids

 

Is your back doing better?

We aren't doing much. We just got home from Hawaii and we are headed to Austin next weekend. Prob have some people over and play pool or something at the house.

 

Well I'm heading to my place on the Lake for a little rest and relaxation. Maybe even go out on the pontoon boat. Will definitely get some fishing in. Probably even have a couple beverages of choice I just hope the weather cooperates this weekend.

i know what i wanna do this weekend..
but what i'm going to be doing is working a bit saturday and sunday i wanna put an other layer of fiberglass on my 12' speed boat. then set the 85hp evinrude on her..
i was going to sell the boat but i think a test drive may be in order.

 

No thanks for asking. I got the results of my MRI today. I have a severe herniated disc and a ruptured disc. I have to have an epidural in 2 weeks and taking some heavy steroids with some kind of patches until then. If the epidural does not give me relief I am going to have to have it fixed.

Post some pictures of Hawaii, I have never been but I want to go.

 

I have a little over 800 digital pics, 7 rolls of film and about 15 videos. I am still organizing them. I will post some when I get it done. I will also be more than happy to tell anyone what we did and what we thought was worth it if they are interested in going. There are some great deals to be had.

We have a ton planned... Tomorrow we are having a clam bake at my grandparents' house... Pretty much any kind of seafood you can think of... YUMMY! This is going to be followed by the annual Slip n' Slide contest (it's a trip!). This year, we are also having a contest to see who can make the best dessert. My cousins and I get to be the judges!

Sunday we are hanging out on the river again and having another cook out with friends.

Monday we are recovering...
