Default "Red Dot" Sights

So who makes a decent "red dot" sight? I'd need to stay under $150. I'm not using this for any "serious" blood letting so it doesn't need to be top notch. I was looking at the Bushnell Trophy but not sure.

Cabela's -- Bushnell Trophy Multi-Reticle Red Green Dot Scope

Anyone have a good one for me to look at?

It's going on my new .223 rifle.

At what range are you looking to use this system at?

that is a good red dot scope. I have it on my shot gun. works awesome for bird hunting. but it is not magnified.

I bought on that is magnified that I love. Its made by Barsk I think. I got it at Gander mountain for $89. black cross hairs with a 2 MOA red dot and if the battery dies there is a black dot in place of it. Its sweet!

I'm not looking much past 100 yds if I ever get that far out. This thing only has a 16" barrel so I expect to be able to depend on it too much past that distance anyway.

Here is a couple of sites for you to gander at for scopes and red dot sites
the first site has what I put on my 7mm Sendero, 3.5-10 Tactical Barska on recommendation of a couple of prior Military Snipers. You damn sure can't beat the price, the quality is as good or better than Leupold, as a matter of fact I swapped out my Leupold for the Barska, was thinking about putting the leupold on the 22-250... then again I could just get another Barska!! Maybe making another order!!

Rifle Scope: Shop Rifle Scopes at Binoculars.com

I have only picked up one scope from these guys as a present to a buddy of mine for his muzzleloader, he hasn't had any issues with it that I know of

Totally missed the .223 part, my bad. I thought this was going on a 12 ga. which meant an awfully short barrel.

Well I went with the ATN Ultra. Just came this week because it was on backorder for over a month.

Now I just gotta get me some freakin' laser beams for it.
