Yep. After realizing that a big aftermarket bumper would have bent the frame, I realized it wasn't such a bad idea. I know I will regret the decision down the road no matter what I do though.

I went to check it out yesterday. It looked much better than I expected given the damage, but there were some little things. They are prefectionists so they are dimantling the entire front end again today to redo it all. They are supposed to be done next week now. Here are some pics I took of it yesterday (they forgot to put the Denali headlights in so it will look diff when it is actually completed).

The cowl doesn't stand out much so I may need to put a decal or something on the side to help.

Looks like they did a good job putting it back together. I bet you'll be glad to get it back home. I know I would be if it were me.

Well, its not home. There were many small things that needed to be cleaned up and a few parts that had been missed which still need to be replaced. They called this morning and said they are taking the front end back off because they just want to clean it all up right. It will prob be late next week til it is ready again.

Well, here is what it looked like on Monday when I went by the bodyshop. It had just started to rain so that is why it is wet. They are fixing the gap between the headlight/grill and fender. All in all I am pretty pleased. I am still thinking of doing an aftermarket grill inset.
