2 months later:
Finally get a call back from the trooper that was handling the accident. " I have been out on leave, but I'll get right to it". In the mean time my insurance company has kicked back the medical bill on me. Pay up or else. In the mean time, people claiming to be from "the other guy's" insurance company tried to haul my truck away. Haven't got any more calls from them when I told them it stays right there until everything is in writing and I have check in hand.
