Default FEMA certifications

first let me say this thread isnt meant to be Pro or Anti FEMA (hence its here not in the badlands)

now to my point. I am thinking about getting some FEMA certifications because I plan on becoming a cop and they look really good on a resume plus i think it will be good info to have. with that being said i wanted to see if any of yall have any certifications or if you think these could help me. im thinking that since i dont have prior military this could be the thing that helps look better.

I looked into becoming a Fema certified contractor a while back, for me it was basically just filing paperwork and waiting. What I found was it takes a long time to get certified, which for me meant I wouldn't be able to do any of the work for that particular situation so i haven't pursued it any further.
