As I was walking down the driveway I felt something wrap around my leg so I immediately stopped and put my foot down.



I had to wait a few minutes on my wife to finish her online test for one of her college classes and then she brought a knife...

Hands down camo crocs do not protect against snakes or allow you to kill them with a twisting of the foot motion. Regardless if it was a copperhead or a rat snake I didn't get bit thanks to the 5 minute response time of my wife and my good patience.

Next time I'm carrying my pistol before I take the trash out or go outside at night.

 

Dang! We had to kill a 4 footer rat snake that was in the dog pen under their dog houses. Snakes usually will make you hurt yourself rather than them hurting you. When my dad went to kill it with a shovel, but I didn't know he never killed a snake without a gun before. The first 3 times he hit it,it either missed or hit it in the side an pissed it off. He almost hit himself in the shins every swing.
