BMW recently released details on two new diesel models*soon to be available in the US. The 335d and X5 XDrive35d are the first BMW diesels*models available to US Consumers since the mid-80s. too bad they only offer it in the 3 series, my girlfriends father (lives in Germany) claims it's not a bimmer till it's a 5 series or better.

that said I still love my old 524td!

And too bad the chose to replace the vastly superior VNT turbo with cheap wastegated turbos.
