The arrival of BMW Advanced Diesel


At BMW, we strive to continually lower the fuel consumption and emissions of our vehicles while at the same time improving their performance. We call this philosophy BMW EfficientDynamics.

BMW Advanced Diesel with BluePerformance will arrive in Canada this fall as part of this initiative. Not only is BMW Advanced Diesel powerful and clean, one tank can deliver more than 800 km while emitting less CO2 than any other diesel in it’s class. Of course, exemplary fuel economy is nothing without the high performance you expect from BMW. That's why we're offering the first diesel in North America with a variable Twin Turbo in-line six-cylinder engine.

BMW Advanced Diesel will be available with the BMW 3 Series and the BMW X5.

Its true. acted BMW Victoria and they have them scheduled to arrive this August / September. I will have to test drive one and give the run down on the pricing then.

 

Well, I test drove the X5 diesel on the weekend - OGM what a machine. 450 foot pounds in a 5 seater that weighs about 3200 pounds is a lot of GO!! Oh and 4 years of complentary maintenance is a great idea.

 

Now if only BMW can put a diesel in a Z4, cause thats the car my wife wants ????
