yes.... back when dad ran what i call ''walking beam'' suspension... if he blew a tire without a spare or if he was on his way home he would just chain the axle up... still SS are gayer than AID'S

don't run them and never will around here ,they are too dangerous in the snow, ice and rain, what I do, the traction is not there in the mud either ,would really like to see it catch on so my steer tire, 425's, casings would be worth something for caps

The singles that they're runnin on drive axle's and trailers are smaller than your 425's, I have seen a couple company's runnin 385's on trailers, but the only place I've seen 425 casings being used is on tag axles.

Believe it or not I've actually seen 425's being capped and run on steer axle, but I STRONGLY advise against it.
