any body know what injectors a guy might put in one of these as a upgrade? also what about the injection pump...it is a m-w bosch pump i've heard...other then turnin it up anybody know of maybe a different pump that could be put on?......would parts from a 7.8 work?

I would say it is in family with a tractor engine, i sell water pumps there will fit.

Front mounting bolt holes look like it may fit a 8220 - 8230 tractor

Is it coming with a Simms pump or cav ??

Above top transmission bolt hole, there is a place to mount the hydraulic pump for the remotes on a tractor

 

An easy swap over would be an A, or P-pump from a 7.8. They both can use Cummins 5.9 hop up parts like gov springs & delivery valves. For injectors, many of the tractor pullin companies can make you a set built to your needs. It would make a neat pickup engine, since you would have a Ford logo on the valve cover.
