I have a mack granite dump truck rated at 400hp. I have been trying for years to find upgrades for hp gains. Mack cannot help here for some reason. I've heard bully dog diesel has modules but didnt see them on their site. I've sent it off maybe 4 times over the years to Mack and other places with no luck. Heck Mack took our money dyno'd and said yep shes runninfine and produces about 350 hp we cant help you good bye. So any help would be great. Maybe exhaust or turbo or intake and mainly a module to wake it up. The gas pedal is actually an elec. switch and the computer controls the shifts and everything.

um its an 04 and its mack

 

When I worked for mack we used to put the high-flow injectors in alot of trucks and they'd make decent power on the dyno but the heads usually cracked within a couple of months. If it's an Allison Auto, see if you can get the trans. reprogramed, changing the shift points will make a huge difference.

PDI might have something for your mack, idk they do alot of other big rigs

 

I thought EPA forced all these big truck electronics to be locked down by the manufacturers some years back.

Excellent. I just saw this post. Great news they can add 5 different stages up to 125 more HP. They said I have to send them the module to be reprogramed. Thats such great news....but it does cost $1200.00 to get it done and down time. Worth it. We've wasted 3 times that much with Mack and other places. THANKS so much for the lead. They said they've only been doing Mack for 3 years and it's been their biggest market in big rigs because they are sold so de-tunned.
